What DICE is

DICE pairs you with another person who is online right now for a live video and text chat. There is no account to create, nothing to install and no profile to fill in. You open the site, choose who you want to meet, roll the dice and you are talking to someone within seconds. If the conversation isn't for you, skip and roll again.

How it works

• Press Roll the dice and confirm you are over 18.
• Pick what you are and who you'd like to be matched with.
• DICE looks for someone whose preferences match yours, both ways.
• Your browsers connect directly to each other for the video call.
• Skip at any time to roll for a new person, or end the chat to stop.

Private rooms and PINs

Not everything has to be random. Create a private link and send it to a friend and only the two of you will meet in that room. Groups and communities can also use a shared PIN, so everyone who enters the same PIN is only matched with each other — a closed DICE experience inside the public site.

Privacy by design

Video and audio travel peer to peer between the two browsers in a chat wherever the network allows it. Chats are not recorded and messages disappear when the session ends. We keep only anonymous usage counts so we can see how busy the site is.
